I started this site as a place to gather in one place the songs and essays that I have written.  I had a MySpace, but after Rupert Murdoch bought the company, I couldn't justify using  something that he owns .   I have found over time that many of the people who come to this site to hear my music are generally horrified by the essays and books I write.

I live in Elk Grove, California these days.  I've been happily married to Mary Ann for twenty-five years (we were both ten when we got married), and we have four children: Adrian, 21, Delaney, 17, Corey, 15, and Natalie, 9. I am currently going to college, and I have just finished an historical novel.  I lead worship at the 11:00 service at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Sacramento.
